Not to throw shade at our tried-and-true Whataburger order, but sometimes a little break is needed from the standard late-night bite. And luckily there are plenty of Dallas spots that are still serving it up after the bars close. Be sure to swing by these establishments after your last cocktail for ultimate next-day hangover prevention.

Velvet Taco | 4622 Greenville Avenue, Other Locations

VT is serving up fusion tacos and the best elotes in town until 2 AM Sunday through Thursday, and 5 AM on Friday and Saturday. And bonus: this location offers a drive-thru, so you can scoop up those Tikka Masala tacos and elote on the way home.

Armoury D.E. | 2714 Elm St.

This place is pretty small and usually crowded, but the kitchen is serving up delicious dishes like Porkolt (beef roast simmered in Hungarian pepper sauce) and cold cherry soup until 2 AM. We highly recommend waiting it out.

We’re already big fans of ZaLat’s sibling, so it stands to reason we would be here late-night. Warm up this winter any night until 2 AM with their deconstructed pho and be sure to add *everything* from the condiment bar. Or feast on some “dirrrrty” pho. They’ll know what you mean.

Serious Pizza | 2807 Elm St.

Admit it: There’s no better late-night dish than a giant slice of pizza. Try to get here before 2 AM to beat the bar rush, but any time before 3 AM on the weekends guarantees you a slice.
