Choosing the perfect Halloween party is a serious task. Looking to monster mash the night away? Make a next level costume and take first place? Or simply enjoy the views from a rooftop hangout? Whatever your plans are this year, make sure you check out these scary good Halloween parties haunting Dallas.


Boos & Booze Halloween Bash hosted by the Dallas Cotillion Club & Dervish Club gives back this season, with ticket sales benefiting the Genesis Women’s Shelter, meaning you help out a woman in need for every ticket bought. Boos & Booze is happening Friday, October 26th 10:30 PM, and features a three-hour open bar, a costume contest, and a DJ to play the best Halloween tunes. Tickets are on sale now for $55 dollars for a club member, and $65 dollars for non-club members.

’90s kids won’t want to miss this totally bangin’ Throwback 90s Halloween Party put on at 2513 Main Street. This event starts at 9 PM on Halloween night and goes all the way until 2 AM. Free event photos along with ’90s-themed decor and old school music will send you back to the time of AIM, Milky pens and Blockbuster, and ’90s costumes are encouraged.

YAP Halloween Party

If you’re looking to get some great downtown views while you party, head to the YAP Halloween Celebration on Thursday, October 25th at 6 PM. Held at Vidorra (which we’ve previously featured for their killer Mexican cuisine) in Deep Ellum, this party promises a bomb night, with a sweet happy hour and the first drink on the house. Need we say more?Bonus, the best dressed of the night will score two suite tickets to a Mavericks game.

Harwood Halloween Costume Party | Harwood Tavern 10/27

Sexy, scary, or downright cute, head to the Harwood Tavern Sports Bar Saturday, October 27th at 9 PM for the Harwood Halloween Costume Party. Come solo or with your boo for the crowning of best individual costume as well as best couples costume. Harwood plans to offer spooky themed drinks, raffles and prizes every hour, professionally done photographs for your night to remember, and indoor and outdoor party areas for guests to mingle.

Halloween On Henderson | Sissy’s 10/27

We were heartbroken when Sissy’s closed on Henderson last year, so we’re ready to haunt the abandoned space with drinks and specialty cocktails brought to you by Smithy. There’s the requisite costume party in addition to photo ops and… surprises, according to the party planners Social Blueprints DFW.
