Weekend Guide: Spring Forward Edition
Join more than 20 breweries and the women who represent them for an International Women’s Day beer social at Craft and Growler with curated beer from throughout Texas. The Pink Boots Society will be joining and $1 of each beer sold from 6 - 9 PM will benefit them. There will also be free raffles throughout the evening, live local female comics performing plus food by Momo Shack Himalayan Dumplings and Yelibelly Chocolates.
A beer by any other name would taste as good, so let’s put our best Elizabethan attire on and crawl through Deep Ellum for the 8th annual Shakespeare Dallas Pub Crawl. Head to BrainDead, Ruins, Easy Slider and more throughout the neighborhood. A ticket will also get you a Shakespeare Dallas t-shirt plus entrance into Shakespeare trivia and a chance to take place in a “Shop Hop” scavenger hunt. We bite our thumb at anyone who passes this party up.
The 11th annual White Rock Farmers Market season opens up March 9, so spring must be here. Enjoy local produce and goods, all sourced from within 150 miles of White Rock Lake. That means no resellers or distributors, just honest goods from North Texans. So come shop local now through December. The market will also match all SNAP purchases up to $20 as part of their new Double Dollar Incentive Program.
It’s time to ride! Join 6-Pack Trail for a 10-mile ride around Dallas wit beer guides that’ll work up a thirst. Good thing you’ll be stopping at a half-dozen breweries including Community and Peticolas to wet your whistle along the way. It’s BYOB (bike) but there’s plenty of swag and you can rest easy knowing you earned those beers.
